Today I accepted a new Mechanical Engineering position. It's working with School District 62 (Sooke area) as an Energy Manager. It's a newly created position with funding from BC Hydro to help reduce the school districts carbon footprint. More on this later...
I think mine has finally had enough and called it quits. So I need to get a new or used one. I can sometimes shift by pulling the external cable by hand and clicking the downshift lever (it's a little slower than actual shifting), then repeat for the next gear. One day soon I'll get it into the shop but for now I still have 2 other bikes to ride.
After sitting on my butt for the last couple of days I decided to head out for a run this morning. Little did I know that mother nature would make me search the house for my winter running gear. I found my running tights, gloves and toque. And I was glad to have those since it was barely 2 degrees when I left the door. I ran 50 minutes at an easy pace and enjoyed every second.
