                  Chad: 13th in age group      Tammy: 2nd in age group

Mike R. was also 2nd in his age group for the 70.3

half distance race.

A huge thank you to Brewer and Mike R. for spending the rest of the day cheering us on after completing their own grueling and fabulous 70.3 races.  (Doing HPR proud on the day along with Butters!).  Thanks also to our friends, family and HPR team-mates for all of the e-mails and messages of support!  Chad says he now looks forward to eating lots of bacon!

Some pics from today.  We met up with Mike R., Brewer, Butters and started with a swim at the Henderson pool:

Then Coach Brewer (HPR Ohio) took us all out for breakfast at  "The Cracked Egg" - Thanks again Brewer!

Thurs Nov. 4th

Today we/I assembled the bikes and took them out for a quick spin with Mike R.  Afterwards we snapped a few pics from the parking lot.  Then Tam and I played in the hotel's busy pool (I think that I saw 1 other person walk past).

Training weekend in Vegas

Last weekend we headed down to Las Vegas to scope out the Silverman course that we will be racing in 3 weeks time.  This was Tammy's first actual ride and run on the course.  I had remembered most of it from the race last year, however, I had blocked a few nasty hills from my memory.
